“In 2015, we knew that we needed to do a software conversion and upgrade to a payment system for our locations that required change and integration to be EMV/chip card compliant. At this time, we met with our local company, Reliance Merchant Services, to see if it could work to change our processing over to them during this conversion as Reliance had come highly recommended by our community partners. Mary Kate was well versed in the chip technology, and we felt comfortable that she and her team would stand by this integration and work with our POS and hardware vendors to get to completion without a disruption to our payment capabilities.

Reliance also assessed our fees and lowered our overall costs for accepting cards. In early 2018, we launched a third location and Reliance was there to get this up and running smoothly.
